Keeping it Going

Preface | Getting Started | Keep it Going | Updates

When you remove starter for a bread making recipe just add back equal parts flour and water in the amount you took out to use. Leave this to sit in a warm place for 24 hours or so and then place back in the refrigerator. It a good idea to make sure and feed the starter as well, the frequency is up to you. If your making sourdough bread frequently then adding ingredients to continue the starter will take care of feeding. If your not baking a lot, then feeding every couple of weeks or so will help to assure your starter is ready to go when bread making time comes again.

Good Luck and Happy Baking!
